Why do Adam & Eve & the LORD look like “ghosts”?  

There was a time when we used “Holy Ghost” instead of “Holy Spirit”.  They mean the same thing.  But some are unholy and nasty ghosts or spirits called devils and demons!   We want to be filled with the Holy Ghost, the Ruach Kadosh!

In the beginning a very long time ago, some Jewish and Christians think that Adam and Eve were clothed with the glory of God, and were shining in their appearance.  That is what this picture represents.

However, the LORD gave ONE command to Adam and Eve:

16 … “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

When Adam & Eve sinned, they surely did die.  The part of them that died that day was their spirits.  “Death” in the Scriptures means to be “separated from”.  They were separated from God and they were put out of the garden!  But through Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, we have the chance to be BORN AGAIN spiritually to live forever with the LORD!   (See my lesson on BORN AGAIN!)
